You can incorporate all your email accounts into Microsoft Outlook and turn it simpler to get all the emails at one stage. We can set up our Yahoo mail account with outlook.
For this you need to have an account on yahoo that is based on whether two-step verification is enabled on your yahoo account or not. It actually fabricates an extra layer of security to safeguard your account from unauthorized access.
If this two-step verification isn’t enabled, set your account to allow email clients to access it using your account sign-in password.
· Log-in to your yahoo mail account.
· Select your profile name and account info in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
· Choose account security.
· Turn on the toggle decoding “allow apps that uses less secure sign-in”.
· Your yahoo mail-account will accept sign-in from outlook.
Access yahoo mail in outlook 2019, 2016, office 365
· Visit File tab.
· Select Info and then choose Add Account.
· You will get a prompt to enter yahoo mail account address, enter and click to connect.
· Then insert yahoo mail account password or app password.
· Tap to connect, your yahoo mail account has been set up with outlook.
Access yahoo mail in outlook 2013, 2010
· Go to File.
· Choose Info and then tap Add Account.
· Tap manual settings or additional server types then, click next.
· Click POP or IMAP, tap next.
· In server information, click Account type dropdown field and opt IMAP.
· In user information, enter your name and yahoo email address.
· In server information section field:
In Incoming mail service field enter imap.mail.yahoo.com
In Outgoing mail service(SMTP) field enter smtp.mail.yahoo.com
· In Login information section, the username text-field shows the username of your yahoo mail address. Edit it if required and in password field enter your password or app-password if two-step verification is enabled.
· Click more settings.
· Tap Outgoing Server tab, choose My outgoing server(SMTP) requires authentication checkbox, then select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
· Click Advanced tab.
· For both the Incoming server(IMAP) and Outgoing server(SMTP), tap use the following type of encrypted connections dropdown and choose SSL.
In Incoming server field, enter 993
In Outgoing server field, enter 465
· Tap OK to reback on IMAP and POP account settings web page.
· Tap next, it monitors all the account settings. If everything is correct, both will be successfully completed. Click close.
· Your yahoo mail account is accessed with outlook.
Access yahoo mail in outlook 2007
· Go to Tools, select Account Settings in it.
· In email tab, select new.
· Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP, then tap next.
· Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types checkbox, then tap next.
· Choose Internet email, then tap next.
· Click Account type tab and select IMAP.
· Enter your account details in their respective fields:
Your Name: Name that appears in the messages you send.
Email Address: Your yahoo email address.
Username: Your yahoo ID.
Password: It can be your yahoo account sign-in password or app password based on two-step verification.
Click more settings.
· Click Outgoing server tab, check My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox, then opt Use same settings as my Incoming mail server.
· Tap advanced tab.
· In Incoming server field enter 993 and in outgoing server field enter 465.
· Tap OK to return Internet email settings web page.
· Click next.
· Tap finish. Your yahoo mail connection is set up with Microsoft outlook.
